Peskov admits insufficiency of pensioners' life improvement steps

MOSCOW, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- Russia has advanced seriously but insufficiently to improve the life of pensioners since the 1990s, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"We have gone a long way but it is insufficient of course. The president is always saying it, we have a much longer way ahead and, as you can see, we are moving towards the goal," Peskov said.

The official also said that the grimmer periods, including the pandemic, hurt improvement of the pension system but there is progress in the sphere still.
